Virgin Mary Church (Meryem Ana Kilisesi)

You can go to this church which is near Tokalı Kilise through a narrow road. Its entrance is like a cave's. Since it lies at the beginning of Kılıçlar Valley, on a higher point, there is a wonderful view of the valley.

Some fractures occurred on the walls of the church because of rain. Again, there are some scenes depicting the stories in the Bible. Figure of the Virgin Mary was pictured in different compositions and several times.

We can see some martyr figures inside the niches opposite the entrance.
Realistic impression of the figures and the bright colors are the most important characteristics.
