Sinasos Turkey

Sinasos, which looks like a real long volcanic corridor, is 15 km. south of Ürgüp.

The characteristics of the age are seen in Haghios Konstantinos ­Eleni and Haghios Vasilos Churches. Name of this place, which has nice houses, was Sinasos once upon a time and now it is called Mustafa Pasa. Damsa dam and Monastre des Archanges, Haglions Stephanos are the churches you can visit there. You can also visit two tombs (which were used as theologic school once) built in the period of Seljuks in Damsa. Quarante Martyus Church and Suveys Church, Kocalı (Mavrican) Church are buildings to be visited for their interesting colors, ornamentations and motifs.
